The parents of Archie Battersbee have spoken of their anger and heartbreak after the Supreme Court refused to block the withdrawal of his life-sustaining treatment.
Medical experts say the 12-year-old is severely brain damaged and would not survive without the equipment that is keeping him alive.
The country’s top court dismissed the family’s application to appeal against the Court of Appeal’s decision yesterday to remove his life support.
