A powerful storm swept through the south and Midwest U.S. on Friday, spawning deadly tornadoes that killed at least three people in Arkansas.
Several people were killed and dozens were injured in the town of Wynne, about 160 kilometres (100 miles) east of Little Rock, where at least one person was reported dead.
The region suffered massive damage as the fierce tornado tore through, shredding homes and businesses and uprooting trees.
The turbulent weather occurred one week after a deadly tornado devastated the Mississippi town of Rolling Fork, destroying many of the community’s 400 homes and killing 26 people.
