NFL Insider Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated reports that he expects Chicago to take a “deep look” at the Kyle Shanahan coaching tree. Could 49ers’ offensive coordinator and running game coordinator Mike McDaniel be the next Bears’ OC? McDaniel doesn’t call plays in San Francisco, so it would be considered an upward move if he wants to become a play-caller. Jim Caldwell could be another Bears’ offensive coordinator candidate after not landing the head coaching job. Getting Justin Fields the best offensive coordinator possible, is vital for Eberflus and Poles.
