‘Burt Bacharach, One of the Great Pop Songwriters, Dies at 94’
US composer Burt Bacharach, one of the greatest ever songwriters, has died aged 94.
Bacharach died on Wednesday at his Los Angeles home of natural causes, according to his publicist.
One of the most accomplished composers of the 20th century, Bacharach achieved a string of top 10 hits from the 1950s into the 21st century, including ‘Walk On By’, ‘I Say A Little Prayer’, and ‘Raindrops Keep Fallin’ On My Head’.
