The Regina Humane Society (RHS) is the trusted voice for animal welfare in the Regina community and we’re looking for the right person to join our team as we make the new RHS Animal Community Centre a reality.
The Centre will be a place for everyone, providing a stress-free environment for people and animals alike. It will be an efficient and cost-effective model of humane care and community involvement with the health standards of a hospital, the educational aspects of a school and the appeal of a community destination.
We are seeking a full-time Community Engagement Coordinator who will be responsible for planning and executing a robust community engagement strategy for the RHS, with a particular focus on building relationships with volunteers, corporate teams, community service providers and special event planning. This dynamic, front-facing role requires an extensive understanding of various department functions and processes, strong communication skills, and a desire to lead with enthusiasm and innovation. This new position is expected to have fantastic organizational and time management skills as well as natural leadership, exceptional communication skills, and a great eye for detail.

Animal Protection Services responds to animal welfare and bylaw complaints within the City of Regina and encourages the humane treatment of animals through education and legislation enforcement where required.

Associate Veterinarian
Permanent, Part-Time or Full-Time
Are you looking for something different that will make a real difference for the community?
The Regina Humane Society will soon be moving to our new, modern Animal
Community Centre. We are seeking a permanent, part-time, or full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team as we transition into the new veterinary clinic within the Animal Community Centre.
Our new Associate Veterinarian will join our two veterinarians and RVTs team to deliver progressive spay/neuter programs, veterinary care for shelter animals, population health management, support for investigations under the Animal Protection Act, and community outreach programming.
We offer regular weekday hours with limited client contact. The ideal candidate will possess a shelter medicine or population health management background with excellent medical and surgical skills to support high-quality, high-volume spay and neuter programming and the treatment of animals in the society’s care.
