Level 3 iPET NETWORk Award in Introduction to Cat Grooming- 5 day course
The qualification is designed for Candidates who wish to gain the skills and knowledge to prepare, style and finish several cat breeds and understand health and safety in a cat grooming salon. The course is delivered over a minimum of 5 days practical training with additional theory to be completed at home.
Candidates will be trained in practical skills such as prepping, bathing, scissoring, clipping, styling and nail trimming on several cat breeds.
Units included within this qualification are Health and Safety in a Cat Grooming Environment
and Feline Handling, Health and Welfare as well as 1 assessment on a short or long haired cat.

Level 3 iPET NETWORK Certificate in Cat Grooming and an introduction to styling – 10 days
The qualification is designed for Candidates who wish to gain the skills and knowledge to prepare, style and finish a selections of cat breeds, understand health and safety in a cat grooming salon and gain an understanding of heath checking, handling and feline behaviour. The course is delivered over a minimum of 10 days practical training with 2 days theory work, there will be additional theory to be completed at home.
The iPET Network Level 3 Certificate in Cat Grooming and Introduction to Styling will demonstrate to an employer or the general public that Candidates understand the core principles of Cat Grooming and have been introduced to styling techniques. Candidates will leave with a foundation of knowledge base to continue learning or working in the Cat Grooming Industry.
There is 4 assignments to include Health and Safety in a Cat Grooming Environment , Promote the Welfare of Cats conforming with Relevant Legislation, Assess and Plan Cat Grooming Styles and Maintenance of Equipment, Feline Welfare and Health Checking and 2 assessments of a long coat or short coat and lion cut.

Level 3 iPET NETWORK Diploma in Cat Grooming and Salon Management- 25 days course
The qualification is designed for Candidates who wish to gain the skills and knowledge to prepare, style and finish a range of cat breeds, understand health and safety in a cat grooming salon, practice business management and gain skills in feline emergency first aid. The course is delivered over a minimum of 25 days practical training with additional theory work to be completed at home.
Candidates will be trained in practical skills such as prepping, bathing, scissoring, clipping, styling and nail trimming on a variety of cat breeds.
Units included within this qualification are Health and Safety in a Cat Grooming Environment, Promote the Welfare of Cats conforming with Relevant Legislation, Customer Care and Managing Complaints, Assess and Plan Cat Grooming Styles and Maintenance of Equipment, Health Checking, Handling and Feline Behaviour, Planning the Operation of a Small Animal Business, Feline Emergency First Aid.
You will also have 3 practical assessments on a lion cut, long haired and short haired cat.
