By booking with us you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
BOOKING POLICY
- Each booking is for ONE CAT. If you have multiple cats to be groomed, please book each cat separately to allow appropriate grooming time. Please bring your cat(s) to the first booked appointment.
BOOKING DEPOSITS & BALANCE PAYMENTS:
- A deposit is taken at the time of booking. This deposit is taken off the total service cost on the day unless rolled over for your next appointment. The remaining payment is to be made in full at the end of service by cash, credit Card or EFT.
CANCELLATIONS POLICY:
- The client have the rights to cancel your appointment, however, they must give us 72 hrs notice. The notice of cancellation must be sent to us via text message (SMS) on 0422 422 404. Failure to do so, may void the deposit.
- The client will be reminded via SMS of their appointment 72 hrs before their booking. Please do not reply to that message as it is a generated number.
- We understand that life emergencies happen and we are willing to work with you, but not on a reoccurring basis.

- The Cat Grooming Salon will contact the client via SMS exclusively. To contact The Cat Grooming Salon, please text us on 0422 422 404.
- Important information such as holidays, available appointments, also new products on the market, grooming advice, and price changes are posted on our Facebook page. We encourage you to follow our page to ensure that you receive the latest news.
- We will endeavour to reply to all your messages as soon as possible. However, please note that replies may be delayed for messages received outside our business hours.
- Our business hrs are Monday – Friday 9 – 4 pm, excluding public holidays.
DROP OFF & PICK UP POLICY
- Our salon is a drop off and pick up service only, we will be able to give you an estimated time of pick up during the consult and SMS you when ready.
- The client will supply The Cat Grooming Salon with the contact number and details of the person responsible for picking the cat.
- CATS NOT PICKED UP ON TIME will be charged a day-care fee of $25 per 30 minutes.
- Please be ON TIME for your appointment, late appointments may be shortened or re-scheduled with a full appointment charged.
- The client is responsible to bring their cat IN A SECURE CARRIER with an EXTRA TOWEL in case of an accident in the car ride. (NO SECURE CARRIER – NO GROOM).
- The client is required to provide a carrier for each cat attending an appointment. The Cat Grooming Salon will keep the clients’ cat in their own carrier to reduce stress. FAILURE TO PROVIDE SUITABLE CARRIER MAY RESULT IN A LOSS OF DEPOSIT.
- The client agrees to follow our DROP OFF and PICK UP instructions as per supplied.
ANIMAL POLICIES
Matting Policy
- The Cat Grooming Salon reserves the right to refuse services to severely matted cats. Should severe matting be determined, The Cat Grooming Salon advices that the client to seek a vet to humanly remove the matting under sedation to prevents both the groomer and cat being injured. In addition, failure by the client to advise us of severe matting may result in loss of Booking Deposit.
Cat Behaviour
- The Cat Grooming Salon reserves the right to only work with cats that are FRIENDLY when being groomed.
- If for any reason cats are showing aggression towards the groomer, we may not be able to finish the grooming service as per booked. The Cat Grooming Salon can, in such instance, provide professional advice on temporary regular visits for grooming training to enable a stress-free grooming in the future.
Cat Health
- The client acknowledges that it is their responsibility to make sure that their cat(s) is up to date with vaccinations, worming and flea control to prevent spreading in our salon or to other cats.
- The client is responsible to check their cat(s) for fleas (whilst we love your cats, we don’t love fleas!).
- A $20 FEE will be incurred if FLEAS are found on your cat(s) and a flea treatment is required.
- Should the client use a flea treatment on their cat(s), they should ensure that it is administered at least 3 days prior to the appointment so we can groom and wash that area properly.
PRICING POLICY
- The Cat Grooming Salon reserves the right to adjust its prices and service from time to time. All adjusted prices will be available on this website and our booking facilities.
- The Cat Grooming Salon reserves the right to additional charges for additional services provided as per advised during the consult.
