Wipe your cat down
Wet wipes are a good daily maintenance alternative to keep your cat smelling fresh and clean between baths.
Using an alcohol-free pet cleansing wipe, clean your cat’s coat and paws gently to remove any dirt or debris. It is important to make sure that the wipes used are suitable for cat’s use and we also suggest using unscented wipes.

Clean her eyes
Routine cat eye care is essential in helping to prevent infections which may lead to future eye disease.
Dampen a cotton pad with eye cleaning solution and wipe your cat’s eye starting from the inner corner and wipe outwards. This is to avoid introducing dirt into the tear duct. Proceed to clean the other eye with a freshly dampened cotton pad.
Applying the solution directly to your cat’s eye is not advised as there is a high risk of poking her eyes by accident.

Clean her ears
This step is more necessary for felines prone to ear wax build-up and ear infections.
Drop a few drops of ear cleaning solution into your cat’s ear. Proceed to massage her ears gently in a circular motion for a minute before allowing your cat to shake her head. Finally, wipe away any excess ear wax in her ear with a cotton pad. Repeat the procedure for the other ear.
Do not use cotton tip applicators (Q-tips) at all cost! It can cause damage to your cat’s ear drum and push ear wax further down the ear canal.
Also, only clean when you notice discharge or unpleasant odour as overcleaning may result in infections.

Keep her nails trimmed
Press down on your cat’s paw gently to extend her claws and proceed to trim the transparent part with the cutter in your other hand.
It is okay if you do just one paw for the first few session as you get your cat to slowly grow accustomed to it.
Take extra precaution not to cut too close to the quick(the pinkish part of the nails) as it can cause bleeding and discomfort.

Bonus step: Reward your kitty!
Congratulations for surviving the whole ordeal!
Of course, we should not forget to reward our beloved kitty with their favourite treats for tolerating the whole grooming process. This way they can associate grooming with a pleasant bonding experience and come to accept the process better the next time.
