Actor and model, Charlbi Dean, who starred in this year’s Cannes film festival winner ‘The Triangle of Sadness’, has died aged 32, according to widespread media reports.
The South African born actor, whose other work included ‘Spud’ and ‘Black Lightning’, is reported to have died in hospital after falling sick.
In ‘The Triangle of Sadness’, which won the coveted Palme D’Or at the Cannes film festival, she played Yaya, one half of a model couple invited on a cruise that goes disastrously wrong.
The film, which also stars Woody Harrelson and is already receiving Oscars buzz, is set to go on limited release in the United States on October 7.
