Television personality Brian Stelter is leaving CNN after the network cancelled his Reliable Sources program.
“CNN will end its Reliable Sources program on Sunday, August 21st. As a result, Brian Stelter will leave the company. We appreciate his contributions to the network and wish him well as he embarks on new endeavors,” the network said.
Reliable Sources has been on air since 1992 and is the network’s longest-running show.
Conservatives have often lampooned Reliable Sources, and many took to Twitter to celebrate the demise of the program.
