Disgraced actor Jussie Smollett has been found guilty of staging a racist and homophobic attack in Chicago in January 2019.
The 39-year-old was charged with six felony counts of disorderly conduct by Chicago police.
He was found guilty of five of the six charges.
The jury deliberated for roughly nine hours before reaching a unanimous verdict.
Mr Smollett claimed he was walking home when masked men approached him, made racist and homophobic remarks, beat him and looped a noose around his neck before fleeing in the early hours of January 29th.
The story turned out to be a lie.
The actor now faces up to three years in prison.
