The Arizona-born rodeo cowboy, model, and actor Brad Johnson, passed away at the age of 62. he was best known for starring in Steven Spielberg’s romantic drama, Always, and for his turn on the Fox series, Melrose Place.

He earned notoriety as a Calvin Klein model before coming to Hollywood and starred in several cigarette ads as a Marlboro Man. After a few uncredited appearances, Johnson’s first major acting role was in Steven Spielberg’s 1989 drama, Always. His big break brought him numerous opportunities in film and television throughout the 1990s, including 1991’s Flight of the Intruder, Rough Riders, and three Left Behind films.
