Nearly three years after actor Jussie Smollett reported that he was the victim of a hate crime, he’ll go on trial Monday, accused of staging the whole thing. Smollett has pleaded not guilty and has never changed his story. NBC’s Megan Fitzgerald reports for TODAY from Chicago.
