Actor Tom Sizemore died in Los Angeles at the age of 61. He starred in Saving Private Ryan and was known for his tough-guy roles in action and war movies.

His representative says he passed away peacefully in his sleep at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank.

Tom Sizemore was being treated for a brain aneurysm after he collapsed and lost consciousness at his home two weeks ago.

His brother and his twin sons were by his bedside.
