After a miracle of getting my visa and trip sorted at the very last minute, i finally landed in Australia after a journey of over 24 hours with my brother Bilal Bin Saqib, ONLY to support my team on their big day!!

I’m thrilled to witness the arch-rivals, Pakistan and India, compete against each other at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground on 23rd October. Rain is the least of my concerns. God will be kind! Pakistan vs India is frankly more than just a competitive cricket match, as it also brings people together! That’s the beauty of cricket 🇵🇰⚡🇮🇳

In the T20 World Cup 2021, Pakistan outclassed India by a massive margin of 10 wickets! Also, in the recent Asia Cup, both India and Pakistan won a game each against one another. Both sides will be attempting to take advantage of one another’s weaknesses as well as their respective strengths. With a competitive group 2 expected, victory in this contest could prove critical to Semi Final qualification later in the tournament. All eyes will be on two of South Asia’s cricket giants! 🏆🏏

The real battle in the match though will be the strengths of both teams. Pakistan’s bowling vs India’s batting. With Shaheen Afridi back in the squad, Pakistan’s bowling looks even stronger. On the other side will be one of the best batting sides in the world, who not only have an explosive Top 3, but also a lot of depth in the middle order as well.

Will Shaheen’s inswinging yorker against Rohit Sharma work once again? Will Virat Kohli be able to score runs against Pakistan in what is rumoured to be his last T20 World Cup? Will Pakistan’s middle-order troubles go away? How will the Magical pair of Babar and Rizwan strike against India?

I’m so grateful for all the warmth and love I’m receiving ever since I arrived in Melbourne! Makes me want to visit Australia more often. Being back after 5 years was a bit too much. More trips are definitely needed to ensure I get a chance to meet all the lovely people here! 💚
