The jury returned a verdict in Terry Sanderson v Gwyneth Paltrow on who was at fault, and who should pay, in the 2016 ski crash on Deer Valley Resort’s Bandana Run in Park City, Utah.
Jurors returned a decision in the “Se7en” actor’s favor, dismissing a $300,000 lawsuit against her filed by retired optometrist Terry Sanderson, and awarding Paltrow damages sought in a countersuit she filed for $1.
The suit originally also included Paltrow’s court and attorney fees, though Third District Judge Kent Holmberg removed that portion for the jury to decide. He said the court would handle that aspect of the suit, though it wasn’t clear what, if any, action had been decided as far Sanderson’s responsibility for other costs.
