Eddie Mekka, the Tony-nominated actor best known for his portrayal as Carmine “The Big Ragu” Ragusa on “Laverne & Shirley,” has pass away. At the time, he was 69 years old. Mekka is most known for his role as Shirley Feeney’s lover, Carmine “the Big Ragoo” Ragusa, in “Laverne and Shirley.” The comedy was broadcast on ABC from 1976 through 1983. Mekka was lived by his daughter, Mia; two brothers, Warren and Wayne; and his sister, Lenore.
