All dogs must be at least 16 weeks of age, and friendly.

We ask that all dogs be current on: Rabies, Distemper (DHPP), and Bordetella.

Limit of 3 dogs per person per visit.

Please do not bring your dogs through the Mall. You can enter the park through our outdoor entrance near JCPenney’s.

A liability form must be signed before entering the park.

Children are welcome, but must be under direct supervision at all time. We are not responsible for injury, and the guardians are responsible for their children.

Please do not climb on our equipment. We know it looks fun, but it is for the doggos.

Playing is at your own risk.

There will be no designated areas for your pet to urinate or defecate, but accidents do happen. If there is an accident, the owners can use our clean up station to quickly remove the waste. It’s okay, accidents happen!

Owners must prevent aggressive behavior, biting, fighting, etc.

Owners are liable for damage or injury inflicted by their dog(s). This means owners are legally and financially responsible for their dog’s behavior.

We recommend unleashing your dog in the transition corridor before entering the park, making sure to close each gate after going through.

Please have your dog leashed upon entry and exit of the dog park.

Please try to keep your dog from excessively barking. With that being said, we know dogs will be dogs and will bark occasionally. Trust us, we don’t mind.

Owners who disregard these rules will permanently lose all dog park privileges.

Dog Park monitors “Bark Rangers” are located in the park for your beloved pets safety.

No Smoking is allowed in the off leash park area.

We do not recommend bringing your pet if they are sick or injured.

Please do not bring your dog if it is exhibiting any of the following behaviors: coughing, sneezing, runny eyes or nose, vomiting, diarrhea, or are in heat.

Big dogs, little dogs, shy dogs, and senior dogs are welcome!

No glass containers allowed in the park.

If a Staff member observes inappropriate behavior or disregard for these rules, by either humans, or dogs, you will be asked to vacate the premise. Violations of rules can result in membership revocation. No refunds.

Owners/custodians of a dog are responsible for the acts and conduct of their animal at all times when it is at the indoor dog park. Dog park users and dog owners assume all risks related to the use of the dog park. Bar K-9 is not responsible for any harm that occurs to any dog(s) or humans while playing at the park.

By entering the dog park, you acknowledge that you are aware of, understand, and will abide by these rules.
Ultimately, we are just a group of people who treat our dogs like children. We are laid back and just want you and your dog to have the best experience possible without enduring the South Dakota weather. We can’t WAIT to meet you and your four legged best friend!
