Actress Shonka Dukureh, who recently gained attention for her role in the “Elvis” movie has died.
Cops say Shonka — who plays Big Mama Thornton in the film — was found dead Thursday in a bedroom inside her Nashville apartment. It was one of Shonka’s young children who found her … the child then ran to alert a neighbor, who called 911 around 9:30 AM#shonkadukurehdeath#shonkadukureh.
