A VEHICLE traveling across the Rainbow Bridge from Canada into the United States exploded by Niagara Falls on Wednesday afternoon reportedly leaving two individuals dead.

The vehicle is believed to have crashed into a checkpoint building at a high rate of speed before going up in flames, four senior law enforcement officials told MSNBC.

Fox News reported that law enforcement sources say the intention was a larger attack to kill more as the FBI has begun investigating.

President Joe Biden has been briefed on the explosion and is monitoring any developments, according to the White House.

The two people in the car during the explosion have died and a Border Patrol officer was also injured, officials reported.
