Jaylon Ferguson reportedly passed away on Tuesday 21 2022 ,his team announced the news of his death on Wednesday.

ln their statement the team said

“We are profoundly saddened by the passing of Jaylon Ferguson,”

“He was a kind, respectful young man with a big smile and infectious personality

Adding
We express our heartfelt condolences to Jaylon’s family and friends as we mourn a life lost much too soon.”

However The Ravens did not reveal the cause of Ferguson’s death.

According to Baltimore police they responded to a report at a home in North Baltimore of a questionable death at around 11:25 p.m. on Tuesday and found an unresponsive Ferguson being treated by medics, however Ferguson did not regain consciousness and was pronounced dead on the scene

Adding that no signs of trauma detected or foul play suspected at the time, The cause of death. will be determined by the medical examiner’s office where his body was taken .

Jaylon O’Neal Ferguson Professionally known as Jaylon Ferguson was an American football outside linebacker and defensive end. Born on December 14, 1995 in Zachary, Louisiana, U.S..

Prior to being drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2019.Ferguson played college football at Louisiana Tech University ,it’s there he gained his nickname of “Sack Daddy in 2018 after breaking an NCAA record with the most sacks in a single-season

Ferguson was drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in the third round of the 2019 NFL Draft He played in three NFL seasons in 38 games and plus 10 starts with the the team , tallying 4.5 sacks and recorded 67 tackles in and was preparing for his fourth season with the team prior to his tragic death

He is survived by his fiancée Doni Smith a son and two daughters.
