The White House has denied any reports of dysfunction within Vice President Kamala Harris’ office after another senior staffer quit.
Ms Harris’ chief spokesperson and senior adviser Symone Sanders has announced she is stepping away from the role after a year in charge.
Her resignation comes after the Vice President’s Communications Director, Ashley Etienne, announced she will leave at the end of the year to pursue “other opportunities.”
Ms Sanders departure comes amid widespread media reports of tension and dysfunction within Ms Harris’ office along with polls showing a steep decline in her approval rating.
Fox News host Jesse Watters says staffers can tell Ms Harris is no longer “the heir apparent” to Joe Biden and are leaving to ensure they are not implicated in her “stench of failure”.
