Variety is reporting that Oscar nominee Lucas Hedges and Emmy winner Sterling K. Brown are in talks to star in Waves from A24. Trey Edward Shults will be writing and directing the movie with Kevin Turen and Jim Wilson producing it. The film starts shooting in Florida next month and follows two young couples as they navigate the emotional minefield of growing up and falling in love. In an unusual step, the film will be synchronized to music from Academy Award winners Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross.
