Taylor Swift — and the truth about Harry Styles and John Mayer in Vanity Fair.
Miss Taylor looks simply radiant on the April 2013 cover of Vanity Fair, and she’s getting more personal than ever before.
The first thing she tells the mag is QUOTE: “If you want some big revelation, since 2010 I have dated exactly two people,” — meaning Conor Kennedy and Harry Styles.
And though she’s been linked to several of Hollywood’s hottest bachelors over the past several years, including Joe Jonas, John Mayer, Jake Gyllenhaal and Cory Monteith — she added QUOTE: “[t]he fact that there are slide shows of a dozen guys that I either hugged on a red carpet or met for lunch or wrote a song with. . It’s just kind of ridiculous.”
Taylor, known for keeping mum in the media about her exes, then authorized a close friend to dish on her former love interests to the mag FOR her. The source first chatted about her relationship with Harry Styles, revealing some pretty shocking 411. Prepare yourselves — this is pretty juicy. Taylor’s pal said Styles chased Taylor down for a year and then added QUOTE: “He wore her down… He was all, like, ‘You’re amazing—I want to be with you. I want to do this.”
Then, the relationship originally fell apart after he texted Swift to alert her of a picture on the Internet of him kissing a friend good-bye. The source says Harry and the girl were QUOTE “making out like with their hands all up in each other’s hair.”
After Swift ended the relationship back then, he again pursued her for the better part of a year until she finally took him back. But Taylor’s friend went on to add QUOTE: “the whole time she says she feels like he’s looking at every girl… And then when they were in London together he disappears one night and after that it was like he just didn’t want to keep going.’
The source also talked about Taylor’s other romantic relationships, saying that Conor Kennedy was awesome but that it was QUOTE: “just like a two-month thing.” The pal then noted that age always seems to be a problem for Taylor, — dating fellas who are either too young or too old for her. The source opened up about the guys Taylor dated before Conor and and Harry, saying QUOTE: “She dated Jake [Gyllenhaal] and John [Mayer] when she was really young and they were in their 30s, and she got really hurt. So it was like ‘That hurt—this won’t. But then it did.”
