Protests hosted by Planned Parenthood, ACLU, and other groups take place at local state houses nationwide today. This comes as Louisiana is about to pass a so-called fetal “heartbeat bill”. The difference between this bill and other recently passed laws restricting access to abortion is it was sponsored by a Democratic Senator and will be signed by a Democratic governor. Meanwhile, more progressive elements are trying to run anti-abortion politicians out of the party entirely. VICE News talks with the executive director of Democrats For Life of America.
