When Britt Harris found out she was expecting her first child, she was excited to share the news with her husband, Specialist Christopher Harris, a soldier in the U.S. Army. A week later, on August 2, he died in Afghanistan due to a suicide bomber. He was 25 years old.

Since then, his fellow servicemen have made sure Britt does not feel alone during her pregnancy, and recently took part in the Harris baby’s gender reveal.

We were honored for Britt to come onto Pickler & Ben to share her story with us.
