Tim McGraw, the award-winning country music star is one of the leads in Paramount’s new show from Taylor Sherson, 1883, a Yellowstone Origin story. Tim sat down for an interview to discuss the new show, working with icons such as Sam Elliott, acting along side his wife Faith Hill, and feeling right at home on the set of Western. During the interview, Tim and I discuss what fans can expect from the new series, what made him happy on set, what made him nervous, and what he learned from his costars.

#TimMcGraw plays James Dutton on #1883, following the Dutton family as they embark on a journey west through the Great Plains toward the last bastion of untamed America. According to Paramount+, it is a stark retelling of Western expansion, and an intense study of one family fleeing poverty to seek a better future in America’s promised land, Montana.

The show, (created by Yellowstone co-creator Taylor Sheridan) has an amazing cast of icons, up-and-comers and great character actors, as it stars Tim McGraw, Faith Hill, LaMonica Garrett, Isabel May and the great Sam Elliott.
