Vanessa Bryant reportedly shed tears during her first day in court for her trial against Los Angeles County. According to multiple outlets, the widow of NBA legend Kobe Bryant quietly cried as her lawyer shared his opening statements and described the graphic photos allegedly disseminated of the site of the helicopter crash that killed Kobe, their daughter Gianna and seven others. Vanessa’s attorney told the jury, per Rolling Stone, “January 26, 2020, was and always will be the worst day of Vanessa Bryant’s life. County employees exploited the accident. They took and shared pictures of Kobe and Gianna as souvenirs. … They poured salt in an unhealable wound.”
