Twenty-year-old Massachusetts Air National Guardsman Jack Teixeira, who is accused of leaking government secrets, appeared in federal court. Prosecutors say Teixeira is behind the most serious breach of national security in 10 years. In court, Teixeira’s mother prayed and wept as the 21-year-old suspect was arraigned on espionage charges. If convicted of leaking classified documents, he faces up to 15 years in jail.
