Sergey Mikhaylovich Brin was Born on 21st August 1973 in Moscow, Russia to Jewish parents Eugenia, a researcher at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and Mikhail Brin, a former mathematics professor.

He attended a Montessori school and graduated from Eleanor Roosevelt High School in 1990. From there, he went to the University of Maryland, College Park where he studied Mathematics and Computer Science, graduating with highest honours.

He went further and enrolled at Stanford University, leaving with a graduate fellowship from the National Science Foundation.
