Memphis defence attorneys, Blake Ballin and Bill Massey, who are representing two of the five officers involved in the death of Tyre Nichols, held a news conference on Thursday.
Ballin is representing Desmond Mills and Massey is representing Emmitt Martin.
Attorneys spoke of the traumatic experience the cops allegedly endured as they delivered their deposition in regards to the death of Tyre Nichols.
Nichols, a 29-year-old father, died in a hospital on Jan. 10, three days after sustaining injuries during his arrest by the five police officers. Officials are expected to release bodycam footage of the incident on Friday evening.
The lawyers said they haven’t seen the footage yet, and they’re waiting for evidence to be turned over to them by the court.
