Gwyneth Paltrow is due to stand trial in Utah after being sued for a ski crash in 2016, referred to as a “hit and run.”

Paltrow’s trial is set for eight days, starting Tuesday. It’s unclear if the actress will testify during the trial. USA TODAY has reached out to Paltrow’s attorneys for comment.
In 2019, the “Iron Man” star was sued by Terry Sanderson, who claimed she seriously injured him during a crash on the slopes at a Park City ski resort. The alleged incident occurred Feb. 26, 2016, on a beginner run at Deer Valley Resort.
